Become certified in Geographic Profiling Analysis. This hands-on in-person course is offered by Government Training Agency is the first of two courses that lead to certification in Geographic Profiling Analysis. Geographic profiling is a technique to analyze crime locations to determine the probable location of an offender's residence and other locations important to the offender. Students learn how to determine which locations are important to offenders when they analyze crimes and apply these techniques to a variety of cases. This class is specifically designed for law enforcement investigators as well as crime and intelligence analysts. Attendees who successfully complete this course are eligible to attend the Geographic Profiling Analysis II course and become certified in geographic profiling.
