Julie Romano began her law enforcement career at Fountain Valley Police Department working in multiple areas, including starting to work as an analyst in detective bureau. In 2000, Julie became a Crime Analyst at Westminster Police Department. While there, she worked with detective bureau and patrol focusing on tactical and investigative analysis. In 2005, she started at Huntington Beach Police Department as a Crime Analyst and in 2020 became the Senior Crime Analyst. Currently she has expanded her team to include a full-time Crime Analyst and two part-time Crime Analysts. Julie also volunteers with the IACA on the Conference Committee working on the Speaker Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology from Colorado State and a Certificate in Crime Analysis from CSU Fullerton.
