Lindsay Marangi began her career in law enforcement as a Public Safety Dispatcher with the Irvine Police Department in 2014. Until 2023, Lindsay served as a Dispatcher, Communications Training Officer, Tactical Dispatcher, Communications Supervising Dispatcher, and Personnel Training Coordinator.
When the department established its Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) in 2024, Lindsay was appointed as one of its initial members and now serves as an RTCC Specialist, providing critical data analysis and information in real-time information.
Lindsay has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from California State University at Long Beach and a Crime and Intelligence Analysis Certificate from California State University at Fullerton. She has also completed internships with the Long Beach Police Department’s Gang Unit and the South Gate Police Department’s Crime Analysis Unit.
In her many roles, Lindsay has served as a trainer to new dispatchers, supervisors, and department employees. She has developed training materials, assessment forms, and scenario based lessons to instruct law enforcement personnel in the complex tasks related to their job function.
